The three compartments provide a combined capacity of approximately 900ml, divided into one larger 500ml compartment and two smaller 200ml compartments. This layout is ideal for serving a main course with two separate side portions in one convenient container.

Suitable for hot and cold food, these Sabert trays are microwave safe, refrigerator safe and freezer safe. They can also be used beneath suitable professional heat lamps, making them practical for hot counters, chilled displays, catering operations and prepared-meal service.

Keep the container upright during storage and transportation, particularly when carrying liquid-heavy meals. Although the tray is resistant to soaking during normal foodservice use, it should not be treated as fully liquid-tight or used for drinks and large quantities of free-flowing liquid.

The Sabert PUL49348HC tray is suitable for microwave reheating, refrigerator storage and freezer use. Always use heating times appropriate for the food, portion size and appliance.

Take care when removing reheated meals because the contents and escaping steam may be very hot. Do not expose the tray directly to an open flame, grill or direct heating element.

Important: The PUL51901 rPET lid is intended for cold and chilled food applications. It should not be used in a microwave, oven or beneath a heat lamp.

Home-Compostable and PFAS-Free Tray

Bagasse is the fibrous plant material remaining after juice has been extracted from sugarcane. It can be moulded into strong foodservice trays suitable for hot and cold food.

Sabert identifies this BePulp tray as home compostable, recyclable and PFAS free. Actual recycling and composting options depend on food contamination, local collections and the facilities available through your waste contractor.

Remove any plastic lid before disposal. rPET or PP lids are not compostable and should be separated from the bagasse tray.

Storage and Handling Guidance

Store unused trays in a clean, dry area away from moisture, direct sunlight and strong odours. Keep the case closed until the trays are required for service.

Avoid overfilling the compartments. Before transporting food, check that the compatible lid is fitted evenly around the complete tray rim.
