Suitable for Hot, Wet and Oily Foods

The moulded bagasse material provides leak-resistant performance with many wet, oily and moderately saucy foods. It is suitable for soups, curries, sauces, cooked vegetables and other prepared dishes.

Filled bowls should remain upright during storage and transportation, particularly when carrying liquid-heavy food. Although the material is designed to resist soaking through during normal foodservice use, it should not be treated as a sealed container without a compatible lid.

Microwave and Freezer Guidance

These Sabert pulp bowls are suitable for microwave reheating. As general guidance, microwave food at a maximum of approximately 800W for up to two minutes, checking the food regularly and following the heating instructions appropriate for the meal.

The bowls can also be used for chilled storage and freezer applications at temperatures down to approximately -10°C.

Do not place the bowls directly over an open flame, under a grill or in contact with a direct heating element. Take care when removing heated food, as the contents and steam may be very hot.

Compatible Clear Lids Sold Separately

Compatible transparent rPET lids can be purchased separately to create a practical food-to-go package. A clear lid helps customers and staff see the contents while providing additional protection during storage, display and transportation.

Compostability and Responsible Disposal

Where home or commercial composting is available, follow the applicable waste-provider instructions. Clear rPET lids are not compostable and should be separated from the bowl before disposal.
