Bagasse is the fibrous material remaining after juice is extracted from sugarcane. Instead of being treated only as agricultural waste, the fibres can be moulded into strong and useful foodservice packaging.

The tray is designed as a home-compostable alternative to many conventional plastic food containers. Actual composting and recycling options depend on food contamination, local collections and the facilities available through your waste provider.

Any separate rPET lid is not compostable and should be removed from the pulp tray before disposal.

Storage and Handling Guidance

Store unused trays in a clean, dry environment away from moisture, strong odours and direct heat. Keep the original case closed until the trays are required for service.

Avoid overfilling. When using a compatible lid, position it evenly and press around the complete tray rim to confirm the fit before stacking, storing or transporting the meal.
