Cake Packing and Handling Guidance

• Place the compatible black base on a clean, flat and stable surface
• Position the cake centrally on the base
• Check that the cake and decorations remain within the available space
• Allow sufficient clearance for piped icing, fruit and side decorations
• Chill delicate cakes before packing where appropriate
• Lower the clear dome carefully over the cake
• Align the dome evenly around the complete base
• Check the connection before moving the assembled pack
• Carry the container from underneath the base
• Keep the cake level during display and transport

The dome helps shield the cake during normal display and handling, but it is not designed to support the weight of the product. Always lift and carry the assembled pack from underneath the base.
